  • ....push him into a lake

  • @mtlchronix It is quite a common misconception that two-handed european swords were heavy, but in fact they seldom weighed more than 1.5 kilos. Mail is indeed quite heavy to fight in since the weight is often awkwardly distributed. Full plate on the other hand were fastened with a multitude of straps to distribute the weight as evenly as possible. One can easily do cartwheels or even swim in properly fastened plate.

  • you can cut all your fingers with your own sword also... :/

  • cool demonstration!

  • First, get wrist control....

  • with a gun

  • Or grap your gun, aim and fire xD

  • @ikarosrising1 he's using a hand and a half actually

  • Nerdwars.

  • @ikarosrising1 : Even maille is distributed finely if you have a simple belt.

  • @ikarosrising1 Very true, and I'm glad someone pointed that out. It depends on the maille/ chainmail being used... Historically, the rings were flattened and rivetted and actually quite light. Modern mail shirts have a tendency to be quite heavy in comparison.

Have a look at Cap-a-Pie Maille (just google the guy) to see what I'm talking about.

  • a big lump of steel on the end of a stick works well, like a poleaxe, mace or flail.
