i hook the worm about every 3 cm untill the whole worm is on the hook, it works great, rarely ever get my worm stole by those little tricky bastards, and if your fishing bass with bobber, leave about 2 inches of worm hanging off the hook...

ok cool. also that orange rod/reel combo you have. im looking for a good setup that is better for throwing bigger baits when bass fishing and has a big spool for when i go fishing for big catfish on lighter tackle.so my question is where did you get that combo and what was the price.

@Marax1231 its a shimano reel on a berkley rod.i usually dont buy combos.i have a little over a 100dollars in it.it has been a good setup.i also really like mitchell reels. they handle lots of abuse and keep coming back for more. they are good for alot of different fishing situations.good luck
