When I saw 'The Bridge' and first I hear the song, I felt I certenly heard this melodyline long ago.

After, I remenber Sting's 'We Work The Black Seam'.

YYYEEEESSSSSS, incredible show, writing was consistently brilliant and the two leads... wow. Sublime. Thank god for BBC 4. I can't get enough of Scandinavian TV. Bron/Broen edges Borgen which edges The Killing which edges Arne Dahl. I'm sure i've forgotten one though. Oh and what a theme song

With Denmark and Sweden being so close together I'm sure there is a wide scope to have other stories where both of the detectives are needed, just like crimes between England and Wales or England and Scotland... the two police forces always work together so surely they can come up with a wealth of material for 'The Bridge'.  The bridge just bridges the gap between the two countries (the two detectives).
