The Arrows, with a camp and kitschy number "Bam Bam Battering Ram" sung in unison by the band and written by band members Alan Merrill and Jake Hooker. This song was recorded in 1974 and produced by Mickie Most. It was an out take, shelved and never released until The Arrows "A's B's and Rarites" album was put out on EMI in 2005.
Mickie asked the band to write a song like a modern day Shangri-las, a male version. In the end he went off of the idea, and the song was forgotten as the band moved on to try other numbers.
Initially the song was intended as a follow up to their debut single "Touch Too Much" but a song called "Toughen Up" was released instead. The Arrows recorded much unreleased material in 1974-76 which has only surfaced in recent years.
The song was recorded at Morgan Studios in London.

The cartoon sequence depicts a love triangle that ends up being only a dream, with one of the band shooting the alarm clock for interupting a dream-kiss.
