the first passage is not wrong because it said God created light, not the sun yet, There was water above the ground, most likely in space, it's not here now, because all that water fell to the earth during the flood. There was only one continent because in Genesis 4 said the land was split and divided. Look on a map all the continents fit together. Then later it says he created the two lights. Moon is very radioactive, who's to say it never produced light at some point? Does this answer you?
