On May 12, 2009 one thousand seniors, older adults and adults with disabilities rallied in front of San Francisco City Hall.
Seniors took their message directly to the San Francisco Supervisors and Mayor Newsom.
"We're here, we're seniors, don't cut our services!"

As one of the organizers of the Silver Tsunami I would like to say that this video truly captures the essences of the rallys message, that a wave of Seniors is fast approaching. And by 2015, one out of every five persons will be age 50 or older. We need the safety network of services in place so that all people can live a dignified life.
