Submobile is the only submarine in the world to use solid state rocket fuel to surface. The main ballast is normally blown using compressed air. The rocket fuel is an emergency option only. Works great!
@formulaformula1133@formulaformula1133 bouyancy is relative to the displacement...displacement is what will take to float the sub to its designed waterline--in this case to neutral bouyancy or decks awash. thus displacment and bouyancy in this situation are the same. if the bouyancy is neutral-then this means -the hull is niether floating nor sinking...to find this you need to know the cubic feet of the pressure hull-times the weight of a cubic ft of fresh water or salt water...
