In this video, James and Jon Bach each test an "Easy Button." Each of their test sessions were 10 minutes long and completely independent. They were then edited together and subtitled to show the various test techniques they employed.

The video demonstrates how testing may be put into words.

  • Destructive testing (the hammer test) looks like a lot of fun.

    I remember doing what we called the scratch test where you would lightly scratch an install disk and then retest to see if it would still install properly. If it did, you would give it a deeper more sever scratch until eventually you were gouging it with your keys.

    Destruction rarrrrr!
