Shifting Temperaments ~ 2nd Composition ~ © 2009

Ok here's my 2nd composition! Yep, it took me two years finally sit down and write another... travelling, work etc... it gets in the way sometimes!

This composition I wrote really off the back of an old idea I had playing in a group a few years back... turned out to sound ok! The video is really about the different emotions everybody experiences throughout Life, happiness, sadness, hysteria, dispair, but more often than not, these emotions usually end up being good ones if you look at things from a good perspective. I called it shifting temperaments for that reason, and also for the fact that my moods used to change pretty drastically too over short periods of time, so I can relate to it pretty well.

Some of the photographs and also the video at the end are actually photographs I took while I was travelling in 2007, the kids towards the end of the video were just fantastic, Fijian kids with seemingly not a care in the world...
