I never understood the whole future camerons thing. Who was the future human Cameron? and why was a model made of her? and is the cyborg cameron in the future one of the good guys or bad guys? confused.

...uhh, did no one else but me remember that pass or no, anywhere likely to house John Connor is likely going to have *dogs* posted there, y'know, the things that go apeshit whenever there's a Terminator afoot and are specifically stated by Kyle Reese as being used in spying Terminator infiltrators? Far as I know, in TSCC canon, there are NO Terminators made that are capable of fooling a dog, not even Cameron. (I could be wrong though; thoughts?)

@Kay2be2M The future Cameron was Johns love interest and was captured so that she could be replaced with a terminator to infiltrate and terminate John Conner, my theory.

Future human Cameron was important to John, because she was one of his soldiers, but SkyNET captured and killed her so their terminator look-alike could get close to John. Their attempt failed when T-Cameron was captured and reprogrammed. However, John became increasingly introverted, relying on T-C as his only contact w/ his own men, & it was affecting his judgement. Saving future John from this fate became a goal of several characters.

@phantomguyHHrfan Or, more likely: The robots/machines captured the human "Cameron", killed her (probably) and made a cyborg which looked like her in order to infiltrate the human resistance forces. After all that is the main reason why the SkyNET even bother putting flesh on the terminators..

Remember; the future humans do not create/build robots that work for them; they capture and reprogram the things..

@Kay2be2M My guess is that somehow future human cameron is very important to john, they could be lovers or friends or something else and he made a cyborg cameron to send it back in time to save young john because he knew he would make a connection with her...that he could trust her.
