I thought there was a level editor, though, was there not? I know the Apple IIe version had a built-in level editor AFAIK...

You have to turn on composite color artifacting in your Atari 800 emulator, or else this game shows up mostly in black & white. On a real Atari displayed on a real color TV set, this game shows up in full color.

I actually have 4 different artifacting options (besides off): Blue/brown 1, Blue/brown 2, CTIA, and GTIA. Which one is closest to the original? (I know CTIA and GTIA are based of the respective chips).

The screen shots on the back of the original Lode Runner box show blue bricks, but when I play it on my XE Game System, I get green bricks. The GTIA chip was the most common, so that is what most games were designed for (the CTIA was only used up until 1981, I believe).

GTIA gives green bricks, CTIA gives purple bricks, Blue/Brown 2 gives brown bricks, and blue/brown 1 give blue bricks (Blue/brown 1 is the closest one to the Apple IIe version)
