Yes the song was used in Requiem for a Dream, not in the Lord of the Rings movie, but it was used in a LOtR trailer for The Two Towers...so everyone is right and wrong at the same time :)

No this song was created for the movie Requiem for a Dream. LOTR just used it for their own theme song.

The version I used is straight from the LOTR movie, whether it was used in another I have no idea, but the specific version you are hearing in this video IS from LOTR.
BTW I don't care for being called a newbie.. >.>
