Hi there Im trying to finish my HHO. I'm building an 8 cells 12v. Using 316 stailles steal, Im thinking on using this configuration: One cell + one cell - One cell + one cell -One cell +........ And like that. What u think? I wanna puit on a 300D turbo diesel benz that runs on waste vegetable oil and Bio diesel

YOU CAN INCREASE YOUR PRODUCTION BY THIS CONFIGARATION
+NN-NN+NN- . BY THIS CONFIGARATION YOU CAN PRODUCE HIGH AMOUNT OF HYDROGEN WITHOUT HEATING UP THE SYSTEM.

Less neutrals per + and -, make it a 2x 4 cell arrangement, you will need alot less baking soda, and can easily draw 5-6 amps per arrangement with reasonable production. An 8 plate cell will only work well with a 24volt and up power source, or you are looking at ALOT of electrolyte.

and buy PWM to increase HHO release from water.

don't use soda etc. use only clean water.. i have generator with clean water, which generate more gas than your only with 1 amp

I'm playing with 5 of these plates to see which config gets the best production. I'm tired of baking soda so I think I will try something else like sodium or potassium hydroxide. Tonight, it seemed like I was getting better production from -N+ than -NNN+ but I need more analysis. I'm still trying to learn the difference between series and parallel.
There probably is some current leakage, but with the 8 cell design, I couldn't get it to draw more than about 5 amps no matter how much catalyst I added... I do agree that heat shrinking the cells is the best way to go, less curent leak, and heat generated...

LOL soda + tap water is for testing only. Actual unit will use distilled water and KOH. But I'm going to buy a PWM eventually...

Hi, you don't want to use baking soda in the long run because its bad for your plates and makes carbon monoxide I think. So use lye in the future, but the stuff is dangerous to work with. For testing baking soda does the job and is MUCH safer.
With this cell though, its strange the current draw is limited to about 5 amps no matter how much baking soda I put into the cell. Output doesn't change, amp draw doesn't change. Never run into a problem like this. I'm gonna adjust plate spacing...
