Ronald Moelker has done numerous concert tours, radio and CD recordings as a recorder soloist and with Ensemble Super Librum, the Lacrimae Ensemble and the Bassano Quartet. In addition to his work in the area of early music, he performs modern compositions and improvisations, including his own work, utilising Live Electronics, Tibetan Bowls and Percussion. He has performed at major European music festivals including the early music festivals in Utrecht and Brugge. Moelker studied recorder at the Conservatory in Rotterdam and at
the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. In 1986 he was First Prize Winner of the Van Wassenaer Competition (NL) with the ensemble Super Librum. In 1987 he received the KRO Radio Prize (NL).

does that thing take a lot of air to play? it's huge! on the upside, you'd have a fantastic lung span.

The sound reminds me of pan pipes. :)
