Latest pickups and the end of The Retrosluts...

Been away quite a while again after being nailed by ill health a few months back.

Anyways, last video as The Retrosluts - thinking of a channel namechange, possibly Retroslut singular, possibly something totally different involvong setting up a new YT account.

Got some pretty little things to show here, and also left mistakes in the video after trying to shoot it no less than 5 times!!

Also moved the TV I show at the end to a new owner today - I just didn't really have the room to justify keeping it.

Love the ZX81 - as I never owned one, it's pretty cool to see how *decent* the games are considering they are mostly made of ascii characters - have yet to get the Hi-res Manic Miner to work yet though ;/

Yay! My ZX81 which doesn't play Speccy games no matter how much I shout at it! Thanks for the plug too.  Going to start a new account when I get an AV cable for my camera.

Wow, that VR thing is pretty interesting, I remember all the hype about those VR things back in the day, would love to try one out someday, but i bet its the type of thing that will really mess with my eyes. Boxed ZX81, nice find. I wish Doctor Who was as good as it used to be, i cant stand the new Doctor Who. I loved the reboot in the mid 90's, that movie they made, it was awesome. I think the modern actors dont want to get type-cast, hense early exits.

@Retrosofer Paul mcGann was the Doctor in the movie - the premise was decent, and it was entertaining as it could be as a reboot... PM has officially been added to canon as the 8th Doctor and has a good selection of 'new series' books written about him - it would be kinda nice to have an episode / arc including him on the TV series - maybe as a 'Three Doctors' type episode...

@bsg7 There are rumours of a Children in Need/Comic Relief special at some point. McGann did play The Doctor a couple more times in some radio dramas. I think they're still available on BBC iPlayer.

Big fan of PM. Withnail and I is among my favourite movies and his role in the underrated Alien 3 deserved to be bigger.
