Thanks to omardude39 for the great tutorial on removing instruments from a song.

Note: Despite using 2 programs to remove the instruments, it's still not a completely clean acapella of Just Be Friends. I'd say about 80% of the instruments were removed but there are still a few trouble spots where the instruments bleed into the mix. Most notably the intro and some parts of the verses.

While I'm still in search of a proper clean acapella of Just Be Friends for a 2nd remaster of this song, I've begun other projects in the meantime. Here are some of the mixes I'm currently working on (whether or not I finish them/upload them will be a different question):

Actually, I don't own Vocaloid. Which is sad because all my friends own at least one. I made this video by forging an acapella using the "sample inversion" trick in Audacity.
