  • this should be entitled ...." Marat getting schooled".......hhhhhh

  • Tickets are considered expensive - USD 20-100. While I can buy lunch for USD 1 (or less) :).

Btw, Marat's a lot of Thai fan. This was R1 working hours - so....explained the empty stands.

  • Generally you won't find top 70 players playing challengers, especially with a guy like Safin, if he ever found himself low enough only to play challengers, he would have retired.

Challengers, with the new points system only offer 110 for the winner, if you reach the quarters you only come away with 18.

Srichaphan hasn't played on the tour for a couple of years and hasn't played a full season since 06, he's as good as gone.

  • yes, trust me i know ALOT about tennis. I have heard of thailand open before because paradon usually plays but didnt know what type of tournament it is. alot of pros still play satellite tournaments as they still offer ranking points.

  • Bangkok is an IS event and has been for years.

Do you watch much tennis and know who Marat Safin is?

  • satellite tournament?

  • Petzschner

  • whos he playing? theyre making him run

  • who was he playing against?

  • you mean dinara walks like marat. why are the stands so empty? didn't they spread the word that marat was in town?
