It is a great move Just be open minded like the movies say

Zeitgeist may be good for opening you up to other lines of thought.

However it is terrible at being accurate. Do your own research if you are really interested in an more accurate alternate world view.

part2...that's not to say some of the ideas in Zeitgeist aren't true (I don't think I watched any 911 stuff from there). The idea of the Roman Catholic Church creating a religion around Jesus (who had been their enemy as an annoying trouble-maker to the powers-that-be) in an older mythological pattern could be somewhat true.

I don't follow a religion but I look at myths, Buddhist, Hindu, Taoist, Gnostic ideas and see what's underneath the words. I find "literal belief" often interferes.
