How To Get Auto-Tune (T-Pain Effect) Into Audacity!

THE REASON WHY I DISABLED COMMENTS IS BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE CAN NOT GET THIS TO WORK FOR SOME REASON. SORRY! IT WORKED FOR ME THE FIRST TIME AND THATS IT! AFTER I POSTED THIS VIDEO, ANTARES CHANGED THEIR LAYOUT OF THE AUTOTUNE SO YOUR'S MIGHT NOT LOOK LIKE THIS! SORRY! I CAN'T HELP YOU THERE!! IF YOU CAN GET THIS TO WORK, CONGRATS CAUSE I GUESS SOME PEOPLE CAN'T GET IT TO WORK FOR SOME REASON. I DON'T KNOW WHY YOU CAN'T GET IT TO WORK SO STOP SAYING IT! IF IT WORKS, IT WORKS! IF IT DOESN'T, SORRY! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YA!!!!

******Alot of folks are having trouble getting this to work. If you can not get it to work then read below on what to do. If you STILL can't get it to work, then I don't know what to tell you. I got it to work the first time and that was that. Don't know what to tell ya folks. It worked for me, thats why I posted this video!!!!!

****IF YOU CAN NOT GET IT TO WORK DO THE FOLLOWING: In Audacity go to edit/preferences/effects then make sure all three vst settings are checked. Make sure the "rescan" one is checked. Then restart Audacity and it should work!

IF FOR ANY CHANCE YOUR "ANTARES AUTO TUNE EVO VST" PROGRAM THING DOES NOT LOOK LIKE MINE LIKE IN MY VIDEO - IN THE UPPER RIGHT HAND CORNER OF THE SCREEN, THERE IS A THING THAT SAYS "CORRECTION MODE" AND SAYS "AUTO" AND "GRAPH". IT HAS TO BE IN "AUTO" TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE THE ONE IN MY VIDEO.

How to make Auto Tune (T-Pain Voice) Into Audacity In 15 Steps

1. Go To http://www.audacityteam.org/vst
2. Download "vst-bridge-1.1.exe"
3. Install into "Audacity 1.3 Beta Plugins" Folder )
(c:\program files\audacity 1.3 beta\plugins)
4. Then go to http://www.antarestech.com/download/update.shtml
5. Download "Auto-Tune EVO VST (29MB)"
6. Install into "Audacity 1.3 Beta Plugins" Folder
(c:\program files\audacity 1.3 beta\plugins)
7. Restart Computer...
8. Now the settings...
key = c
scale = major
retune speed = 0
scale detune = 4 cents, 441.0 hertz
humanize = 0
natural vibrato = 0.0

rate = 0.1
onset delay = 0
variation = 0
onset rate = 0
pitch amount = 0
amplitude amount =.3
formant amount = 1

9. Your're Set!
10. Record some singing/audio
11. Highlight Desired Audio, Click on Effects, Then "Anares Auto: Auto Tune EVO VST"
12. Push OK
13. You're audio now has Auto Tune In It
14. Repeat effect again for even more effect
