housing: fair housing rules which forced lenders to make more loans available to more minorities and lower income people. people who couldn't afford the houses they bought. now the same dems want to spend 300 Billion to bail out these people who would never have gotten the loans if they had not forced the banks to change policies

Gas prices: blame the dems and the envrionmentalists, no new refineries in the last 25 years due to strick government regulations and envrionmental rules. Drilling at home not allowed for the same selfish reasons. and huge taxes on the Oil companies.

The US government makes TWICE as much per gal of gas then the oil companies do. If the oil companies are making too much profit on gas isn't the government twice as bad?
