I'm reading this now and quite enjoying it! I'm familiar with certain things in the novel although I'm only 17 but younger teens MIGHT not be able to relate to this novel as much like you said. I did ask Jay Asher on the process of writing this book and he said that he and Mackler wrote both Emma and Josh together and not separately
I don't disagree with you, but I really liked the story and thought the concept was good. It was a bit risky of them to put this out there, though. What if someone had written a book like this with MySpace? That website is not popular anymore and neither would the book. They can't un-publish it. I have a review on my channel.
