  • brit kids were the best at soaking up all that early american rock n' roll and blues. harrison, richard, page, clapton, lee.....the list goes on and on. they would skip art school class and go lock themselves in the bedroom until they came out armed with all the licks.

  • @lemmy351 The guy who played the solo on the original version of Rock around the clock was session guitarist Danny Cedrone. Bill had used him on some of his earlier Essez recordings - especially ROCK THE JOINT, where the solo was actually first done (look it up on Youtube: Rck the joint-Bill Haley. Danny Cedrone only lived for a few months after the Decca session. He fell down a flight of stairs and died after fracturing his skull.
