There japanese names are way better because there new and unique, and not stolen from a G1 character. I mean if your going to name a new transformer using a G1 charcters name at least make them look alike or have the same colour or same vehicle form. eg like thundercracker he's the same colour as the original and transforms into a jet fighter.
