I had to take the hearing test too! I never got the tubes, and was suppose to be deaf by the time I was a teen. I would look at their mouths too!

One of the things I love about u, Nancy, is the fact you never say a bad word about anyone, also you are always so conscientious of other people's feelings, even if its a comment on here. You are the kindest soul I have ever met online. You have great advice on things like marriage, kids, life in general. You live your life simply, do not seem to worry what the neighbors think & I admire you for it. So glad to have run across u on here & wish I was lucky to be your neighbor. ---Angie

Aw yes the dreaded cows milk. Isnt funny how its supposed to be so good for us but we dont really need it. My children had difficulty with their hearing when they were young, only one got the tubes. I also lip read but from having to watch tv with the sound off so my parents wouldnt hear it. LOL :D

Hi Nancy. Great story you told here. I'm also deaf. I watched your other video on your denture adjustment. It was interesting. My sister talks to me without her dentures, and it is HARD to read her lips.. LOL!!! I have a hearing aid that is on my left ear. I have 75% hearing loss without my hearing aid. I don't hear anything without my hearing aid. With my hearing aid in my ear, I hear just about everything. Thank you for a great stories you share on your dentures!!
