Bass Jammin to "There´s Only So Much Oil In The Ground"

I got a great playalong minus bass for this T.O.P. classic, called "sitting in with rocco prestia". I heard the book is also out for drums and guitar, get it if you dig the style!
First chorus I play rocco´s line, afterwards i try to improvise lines with his material.

In case you´re wondering wtf i´m doing with my left hand:
i try to imitate roccos techique in order to get his dampened sound.

James Brown RIP - I've allways felt this song has a strong James Brown feel to it, around the time when Bootsy Collins was in the band. Rocco Prestia was an original member of Tower of Power who was a great basses but this guy is very good !!!

Great job on a tough bass part. That's quite a P Bass-like sound you're getting. Are you soloing the neck pickup?
