Peter Combe - Wash Your Face In Orange Juice

Peter Combe's timeless songs have been entertaining children for over 20 years. Much loved classics such as 'Spaghetti Bolognaise', 'Newspaper Mama', 'Wash Your Face in Orange Juice' and 'Juicy Juicy Green Grass' have earnt him 3 ARIAS, 7 Gold and 2 Platinum Albums.

When he visits the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre on the 16th and 17th April, Peter will be performing shows in two similar and yet very different styles! The matinee shows are a mix of the old favourites 'Toffee Apple', 'Newspaper Mama', 'Wash your Face in Orange Juice', 'Spaghetti Bolognaise', 'Juicy Juicy Green Grass' and 'Chopsticks', plus some new songs from KiddyWinks, his latest CD that was especially designed for pre-schoolers. The show is gentle, quirky, and interactive with lots of opportunities for the audience to sing. The evening show, with the very classy Bellyflop in a Pizza Band, draws on songs from the 'Toffee Apple', 'Newspaper Mama', 'Spaghetti Bolognaise' and 'Chopsticks' albums. They're the albums that most of the older audience grew up on, and it's a real rock show. The evening show has certainly attracted some serious fans. Peter tells of one particular night on his latest tour: "One member of the audience recently produced a pizza and actually bellyflopped into it. It was amazing!!" Fans are encouraged to stay for happy hour at the bar after the show, where they will have the opportunity to meet and have a chat with Peter.
