@JeanLopezful so Glad to know she is doing better I was diagnosed with Myasthenia in 2009 and have had a thymectomy as well, and have also been intubated...but God keeps us alive for a reason! God Bless

she's feeling a lot better .still on mestinon, and low dose prednisone every other day,,& monthly IVIG, she has appt,this monday to take out stitches, she is happy now.Thorasic surgeon said he's glad that she did the thymectomy while she;s young(18),,it will take 2 to 5 yrs, to see the results.I know she'll be in total remission. thanks for the prayers.GOD is really great!!!

Yes, it's scary .my daughter had a crisis last February..she had Thymectomy done last monday.

Hi I am looking for people who have gone through what my mother has, she was just diagnosed with myasthenia gravis and suffered a crisis. Have you had more than one myasthenia crisis?
well it really depends on the person and how well they are being taken care of
