@jimmychippy You can't do that anymore? I watched this yeeeeeears ago before the game even came out and thought that was really cool, then I guess never thought about it again because I don't play Fei, then when I saw it in the video again today I was like "Wow... Why hasn't anyone been doing this? Why didn't Seth's prediction come to be?"
Are you sure this doesn't work anymore? Even in Super SF4?

All the fighting games got their inspiration from Bruce Lee of course. In the gaming world, where there is a tons of games that have "JKD" fighters like Bruce Lee :P
Dead or Alive - Jann-Lee, Tekken - Law, Street Fighter - Fei Long, Mortal Kombat - Liu Kang.
And these are just few of them :D

Regarding the characters' cultures and backgrounds, I think you misunderstood me. It's just the visual design I find disturbing.
In previous titles most of the chars looked rather athletic than like body-builders.
Your assumption on Fei Long contradicts his background story, though.
No doubt that he is a tribute to Lee. No need to point that out. It's 100% obvious.
But he is not Lee story-wise. Fei is aspiring to fame to continue Lee's legacy. Lee is his idol.

You're right, they should add more asia-origin fighters that strive to fight what they believe in and save their loved ones and/or people.
Oh wait, that's 3/4 of the roster.
Also Fei Long is supposed to be Bruce Lee. His Beijing Flag shows as much.
