Steve Chamberland, former pro wrestler, has been at the Extreme Makeover Home Edition, GA site this week, helping with the build. Steve lost his leg in a motorcycle accident and when he heard about Anaiah Rucker losing her leg after being hit by a truck, he was determined to help. He teamed up with a friend who makes prosthetic legs to make her one.
He is now inspired to do more. Prosthetic legs can cost up to $300,000, and even with insurance, it can be unaffordable. Steve's mission is to get 50 legs to 50 people in 50 weeks.
