@cavemanforever, makes perfect sense know, but again, I know it seems dumb, but once assembled and put it up, how do they pitch it to 90*... I really want to put a small wind turbine in my back yard.. i am going to find out about the regulation and once put it. i would put it on Youtube

I don't understand why the blade are so flat toward the wind?

@lucas911611 what do you mean exactly

@cavemanforever At the end part, when the blade are assembled and screwed to the pole, I am wondering how the wind can rotate the blade if the blade from front seems to not capture the wind much. Wouldn't it help if there is more blade facing to the front so it covers more wind?

@lucas911611 This is what we call "idle mode"...there is no production of electricity in this operational mode..the turbine is in a safe situation as long as i can turn slowly..also it prevents damages on bearings and other rotating components...for production mode the blades will be pitched 90° to produce a maximum of electricity
