Would be a brilliant train to drive. This is actually quite rare as 43's only have buckeye couplers on the rear end, meaning the only loco that can be directly connected is a 91. The same is true for the coaches. So light engine moves are usually done with a carriage attached, as these have both types of coupler, and if the power car fails, then it can be towed off from behind.

Cuts to the rail system, it's much cheaper to run a train as one power car, rather than maintain a whole rake of MK3's and run another power car! Sensible solutions for a happier Britain! =-D
