Star Trek Online: Defiant-class battle scene

From the game Star Trek Online.

This clip is the player POV while commanding a Defiant-class starship. I came across a Borg sphere battling a Species 8472 battlecruiser and destroyed them both. Example of special attacks and the advantage of mixing beam weapons with cannons and having multiple torpedo launchers.

The purpose of these videos is basically because I am a fan and wanted to show them to my friends who are also Star Trek fans. Some of us want more things "Trek" and if that means we can get some entertainment from a Trek-themed video game... or by watching video clips of someone else play it JUST to enjoy a battle-scene between iconic and well-known ships and ship designs, then so be it.

Why no Turrets in your back weapon slots to maxime your front attack?

@ChakkarCor I don't even really remember many details about this game but... I'm certain that there is a rear turret, rear phaser and rear torp launcher. You can even see and hear the turret firing. lol

Yes it is. Species 8472 is revealed to have a name during the storyline of the game. They're called the Undine.

how do u get the computer to say "recommend you fire torpedos now"?

@bennie128: As far as I know, its a standard feature of the game. I never noticed the computer giving tactical status updated until the S3 download, but like I said, I think that came as one of the upgrades in S3. I don't really play all that much and am not renewing my subscription. I just wanted to post some space pwn vids of the game before I stopped playing.

But yeah, it should be part of the game. Check the audio settings and if you can't find anything, try resetting to default.

@bennie128 it is a option in space controls i think for suggestions during combat, like off, some or more, kinda like that. the 3rd option from drop down box i think is what your after. Can get annoying tho.
