Let me say this... whats the point of saying one band is trying to be like another. If thats the case no two bands should play the same song... period. Regardless of the different arrangements. Fort Valley is on the come up and all people have to say is we're trying to be like this or that. Jones is doing a GREAT job ALL BY HIMSELF. Respect that our band program is growing and we have to start somewhere. . BE PREPARED for what is to come from FVSU BMMB.

Of course they do. Anybody who uses another band's staple will be found guilty of that. Just like when Albany State plays their version of BCU's Let's Go Wildcats.

FVSU has a band director that graduated from MBC. He has no idea of the tradition at FVSU, so I can only guess that he erased everything that was previously created and is trying to create his own version of the Marching Wolverines.

Davion!! Its Justin. lol You are being much too kind to the billygoats but its fair. Let me explain to the rest.. We NEVER said they didnt have a good band. The issue with some Albany State band members has ALWAYS been they thought they were BETTER THAN THEY REALLY WERE! They have been and still are to this day too conceited. We will see them at the Fountain City Classic in a couple of weeks. GO WILDCATS!

I see SCSU Marching 101 are not the only band to play Spotlight Groove. I wounder if folks tell you guys that you are copying MBC like they were telling the 101 that?
By the way, I'm hearing you all play serveral of the same drum cadences as the Marching 101.
