Janet Kuypers poem "The Carpet Factory, The Shoes" for show

Janet Kuypers performed this poem for the Chicago show "The Soul of Soles: A Foot Fantasia".

This is a practice performance of the poem on 10/15/07 before the show started the next day.

Janet Kuypers performed the two poems "The Carpet Factory, The Shoes" and "Yeah" (with music from the HA!Man of South Africa, A.K.A. Francois LeRoux on the cello along with prerecorded music — learn about the HA!Man at www.hamanworld.com/, and Peter Bartels with the trumpet) at a multi-arts musical poetry performance called "The Soul of Soles: A Foot Fantasia". The events took place at the Peter Jones Gallery (1806 W. Cuyler, 2nd Floor, Chicago, IL 60645) at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday October 16th and Wednesday October 17th.

Featuring the musical genius of Francois LeRoux and Peter C. Bartels with video shot by Francois LeRoux (aka the Ha!Man of South Africa) and Cathleen Schandelmeier, this event featureed the amazing artistry of Donna Pecore, Tekki Lomnicki, Janet Kuypers, and Ed Roberson.
