Keep in mind that HRG said that Claire's blood wouldn't be able to heal Hiro of his illness so i don't think that it will heal Peter and give him back his ability. But i like the idea of Peter having to touch people to get their ability. It would be nice if they could blend the two like you said.

Thats a good point, however, Hiro's problem is different because of the tumor, it would accelerate the growth and kill him faster, where as with Peter, it should just heal the busted DNA, like it would heal a cut or something

The perfect time for peter to regain his ability was when he got shot last episode. He both had an empathic link with Claire, and was in close contact with her.. but they didnt do it.

Peter will never get his old ability back, I'm convinced. :/

they didnt show peter taking wes power because they probably couldnt get or want to get the actor that plays him to come for that small part of peter grabbing on to you and saying thanks then flying away that would be waste of a cameo

Sylar can always turn into Wes and have a relationship with Claire.

What confused me most was the slyar/Claire thing, I mean if he has 'desires' for her then presumably thats either romantic or sexual, and also basing it on the final episode of volume four, Sylar says that eventually Claire will forgive him and maybe even love him, which does indicate that maybe he has feelings for her. What confused me was the way he spoke, he sounds really creepy so I was wondering whether there's something else he could want from Claire

Actually it wouldn't be too weird in the age department for Zach and Hayden, since she dated Milo and he is the same age as Zach.

Anyways, based on what I've read in spoilers, I assume Sylar will be joing the good side in this battle. In fact, he may be trying to redeem himself, since he also visits Matt to make amends. So I think it's going to be Peter, Sylar, and Claire working together as a team against Samuel.

Peters new ability is interesting. I think that he might be able to hold onto more then one ability. Like at the end of the episode he flew while having claires healing abitlity. His powers may be related to his first one. You know empathy. If so he could alot stronger once he gets the hang of it.

Hmmm yea, I've really been wanting Peter to regain his ability since a lot more since i heard that Nathan was dying for real this time.(which btw i dont understand y Claire wouldn't try to revive him i guess that probably has something to do with why Adrian Pasdar isn't on the show anymore.) I think that "Nathan's" last words to Peter and Claire's blood should restore Peter's Empathy. But I doubt the writers are going to do that.
