  • wow. i love shred guitarists, especially neo - classical type stuff. this guy is very good. any chance of a tab dude?

  • It's something I might do in the future once I get my music notation software going. I'll let you know.

  • I'm afraid of your pink guitar. ;D

  • It's not really pink, more of a Halloween florescent Orange. The DiMarzio humbucker is pink. Thanks!

  • Classical music played on guitar--gives me goosebumps. Thank you VERY much for posting this video, it is one of the greatest on the web, if not the greatest.

  • @Evetsocrates

You really should do it, I found a tab and it appears to be a bit "different" and in the style of doing things the hard way.

  • Sigh!... I miss you Evet, and your musical genius

  • I have known about this video for 3 years now, and after coming back to it I am shocked to see it has only 4,869 views!!! There are videos of utter shit with millions of views...

  • HOORAH

  • the guitarist from slipknot finally learned how to play some real guitar music

  • Awesome playing I might add. You metal guitarists must get off on playing this. It may be over 300 years old, but darned if it doesn't like it composed yesterday.

  • Someone commented on another Toccata guitar video that Bach was the ultimate metal head, and I have to agree. I've seen all sorts of technique used to play this piece that I've seen metal guitarists use on modern songs. And these videos only feature roughly 3:00 minutes worth of this. I can only imagine the technique and patience required in order to learn the whole thing.

  • nice job dude one of the best renditions I've seen.......

  • this guys good!

  • Mate, that was awesome! Well done! I notice it's been a while since you said you might do a tab for this piece and was wondering if you ever got around to it? If so, I'd LOVE to get my grubby little hands on a copy. Keep up the great work. Cheers!
