the gay rights organization, "Queer Nation" decided to interrupt Arsenio as he was about to introduce his guest Paul Hogan. Arsenio was ticked off at their protest and decided to respond.

I'm a hetero female and a *huge* LGBT ally, and one can tell Arsenio Hall is a straight ally too, if you see his shows... he was incredibly comfortable around guests like RuPaul and Elton John... Arsenio really put that group in their place, if I were them back then I would have confronted a horrible, vile, bigot like Andrew Dice Clay. I recently saw a clip of his 1987 bit on gays and have never seen and heard such a *DISGUSTING* display of hatred, karma made him now look like John Travolta ->
