I wish I had the patience to learn to do something like this, but I don't even know where to begin to learn to write music.

Trackers are actually very simple to use, i use famitracker and only like 1,000,000 other people do as well.

What an awful interface, I don't know how anyone can stand using these trackers. Can do the same thing much much easier with Reason or Fruityloops. Props for your patience and stubbornness I guess :P

I really do not see how anyone can make music at all using the method of trackers, but hey, I 'm learning. ^_^' and for now its a rough start...

its an awesome programme to make REAL chiptunes, not imitations, and opens commodore anima files (1980's computer files.)
its awesome, and would recommend to anyone.
Maybe milkytracker[dot]net? (The very first hit when googling "milkytracker"...)
