For my research class I had to research and create a presentation based on something I was interested in or something related to my community. I thought about ways in which SF was unique and started thinking about how it has become a sort of mecca for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people (aka GLBTs). As I researched more on the topic, I started learning about a whole new section of this topic that I had never known about before, discrimination in retirement homes against gays. After writing a longgggg paper, I made this movie based on what I had learned and ended up being asked by one of the heads of school to present it at morning meeting. Discrimination is really an important thing to be aware of and avoid. Help put an end to hate. Don't Discriminate.
This has really upset me, I hope that discrimation against eldery gay people is stopped, hope and pray. Some day I will be in their position.

Nicely done! I know through my own research that this is a subject that isn't often thought about, but Gerontology textbooks are beginning to acknowledge this kind of discrimination... although limited. I enjoyed your video and message. - Indiana University, Bloomington
