Macbook vs. Macbook Pro Comparison

Just a video from a question submitted from a subscriber of mine. They wanted to know what the differences was between the Macbook and Macbook Pro. This comparison are from the older machines and not the new models.

is it cheaper to get a macbook and modify it (like increasing the storage memory and speed) or should i spend more money and get a macbook pro. please help me decide!!!!! anyone?!!!!!

@whsdg00 What are you planning on doing with this machine? If you need processing power for video editing, graphics? Then you should go with the Macbook Pro, but if your just surfing the web, writing e-mails etc. then I would go with the Macbook and just add memory. It just depends on what you want to do with the machine. I hope this helps?

@toddrecommends ok so i can just change the RAM for more speed. but what should i do if i wanna have more storage memory so i can save more songs,videos and other things on the laptop.

@whsdg00 I would invest into a 1TB external Firewire or USB hard drive. Western Digital makes really great ones and it's what I use.

I wanted to get either a macbook or macbook pro for college, but im stil l not exactly sure. The main thing im looking for is for it to be a fast machine, and not become slow or obsolete in the next 4 or 5 years. I like the way the pro looks, but i dont know if its worth the extra money. Any recommendations?

Which MacBook is better for editing movies? Like saving and such.
