@Songsmirth ; Indeed, you are correct. A few camels were tried on the Mojave Road / Salt Lake City Road and sadly they failed miserably. :-) There was a whore house at the fork in the two roads, near where Barstow is now. It was quite popular with soldiers from Camp Cady. Ah, the good ole days.....

@Desertphile Interesting. :) And I believed they used them in and around the grape vine out of Bakersfield.

Good bad guy. :) The bad guy's side kick is someone I remember in many, many westerns. I always liked him. What's his name? The one with the quick temper? This is going to be fun. :) Thanks partner. lol

@SuperBigblue2 ; The chief reason why camels did not work on Beale's Road, in Arizona, was because the Army used the wrong type of camel. They used small camels that were raised in the USA, from the original stock imported from Australia. The last camel died from exhaustion and sunstroke on its way to Hardyville. If the Army had used the hardier, bigger Arabia camels, I suppose they would have still been using them into the 1900s.

Awesome !! thanks !
I thought I was going to be able to watch full episodes of one of my favorite shows. However, I see part #1 of one episode , part #2 of another. Nothing that is a complete episode. Very disappointing. What good is part of an episode?
Very disappointed

@r1w2m346 there is part 2 up top left you know, and not everyone can post video's passed 15 mins long so i had to split them up. and if its not at the top left for you, you just copy and paste the title in the search bar and change part 1 to part 2, it not that hard, but will the limitations of youtube, it will have to do.
