We played what we were given pretty well, but we had our issues. It was one of the greatest summers of my life, but ranking wise we ended up right around where we should have been.

If any drummer is thinking of going to pc, go for it. By all means. But do not think that this drumline is just as good if not better than the Blue Devils. You say that this line is clean but there are the stick heights, dynamics, the definition of control, tempo, rhythmic accuracy that are all out of place in this video and others.

Though I will admit by that the end of the season, their bass feature was the most sexy thing I'd ever heard.

and these guys were ranked 17th in percussion in 08? You'd think these guys would have tied for at least 12th

hmmmmmm. Well i hear Pacific Crest is more fun the BD, Its just a matter of ranking. Blue Devils will be always in the higher rankings because it has more people. But PC is perfect. My friend tried out for PC's drumline, and made it into pit. lol
So as long as you work really hard, i think youd be good competition. So go for it!
