  • even though the show was great i think every1 really just wanted to hear the ending theme lol, classic stuff. Just like thomas the tank engine its just a feel good factor that these old cartoons have that todays 1's lack, mainly because cartoons today all try to be anime and fail miserably

  • @ovafiend Anime today suck compared to anime in the 80s and 90s too. It's not about what they're trying to be. It's that modern cartoons, regardless of country of origin, are trying to copycat the success of their predecessors by replicating the surface elements without understanding what made them good and it really shows.

  • @ssokolow Depends which anime's your talking about. Many modern animes are brilliant. Cowboy bebop, Samurai Champloo and Monster are all very intelligent and well constructed Not to mention awesome and often socially relevant. I think you refer to the hype of pop anime like Naruto and Bleach cause that shit sucks. And I agree with your point on trying to copycat sucess. People just end up trying too hard. Peace

  • @ATGODZ I haven't gotten around to watching Samurai Champloo yet, so I don't know if it's one of the scattering of decent ones that are always around if you look hard enough, but Bebop and Monster were both written in the '90s. Bebop is from 1998-99 and Monster is a 2004-2005 adaptation of an award-winning 1994-2001 manga. (I've read it. It's probably the most amazing thing I've ever read.)

  • I can't hear any strings in this, be it piano, harpsichord or anything else. There are bell sounds, and something that sounds more percussive than a piano, perhaps a glockenspiel or a xylophone? If anyone who heard a harpsichord or piano could point out when, I'd like to hear it, though.

  • @ovafiend To be honest... they wouldn't be airing those shows if they weren't attracting the demographic they were aiming for. Face it, we grew up with what he had and we have good memories about it. Now we've just grown up.

These cartoons and shows meant for kids (today) aren't meant for you. Kids (today) have different tastes and the TV networks know that and they accommodate it and that's how they make money.

  • Tara Strong was Young Celeste!

  • @thegoodgeneral

Thanks comment. But regrettably, I could not find it anywhere.

    What a waste!

  • @tokee1234567 I'm aware of that....... and that wasnt my point in the first place =P

  • @ATGODZ cowboy bebop and samurai champloo are not modern animes. and btw Monster was written way before it was adapted into anime I believe...

  • @mongamae3 It's the credits. It's written right there. Milan Kymlicka. Good luck finding recordings of his music, though, not sure they even exist.

  • Who is a composer??

I want soundtrack of the babar.

    Could you tell me ?

  • No Babar don't leave, please! Can you just stay for another 23 hours and 30 minutes? : )
