i got a jammed sleep/power button how do i fix that without opening my ipod?
-
You guys can just go to settings/general/accessibility
/assitive touch/ on. Then you will have a little icon which you can move. Now click the icon, hit device, and then lock screen and it will be locked. Sadly, if you want to jailbreak you can hold the lock screen to power off so it's worthless jailbreaking. Hoped this helped!

@TAYNEEJACQUI123 I didn't do anything, I suppose the moisture inside of the iPod evaporated by itself. It took about a week.

i read your description and i saw that u said that u reinstalled the invisible shield wel if u mean the invissible shield like on the outside to protect your iphone (i weldnt know since my cpu's vollume is ded) maby it just overlaped with the slee/wake button and it like presses it down whene its off , causing the problem your having

@1iddi No, it was because of moisture from the spray, thus causing a signal problem between the button itself and the controller/relay.

I had the same exact problem and I restarted itouch and put in DFU MODE. So just click restore and see what happens from there. Let me know.
