@WESTover7740 I figure most people are smart enough to make their own determinations without my opinions interjected.

At 1:27, Andre says "Oww!" when getting pricked by one of the 'petals' of this round. 5 bucks says that the scumbag criminal will scream out 1000 times more than just a lil "oww"......

NASTY round! They're what i keep in my gun for home defense.

this is what i carry just because of this video. beautiful, sharp, expansion that will destroy whatever or whoever it enters. great video and thanks for helping me find the right round with your tests of the different ammo
-
Nasty. Makes me want to coat them black.
-
A BG sure will feel some pain with this coming out of my G21. That is one nasty looking round!

@ludwigdrummer1, cheaperthandirtcom has if for about $26 a box. The other place is charging $32. Buy from cheaper then dirt unless your buying in bulk. And even then TBH walmart has better prices (on Winny White box of course) then mopst spots have on bulk reloads. In .40cal for 1000 rounds of reloads on the net go for about $.25 a round where as wally world has new ammo for about $.27 a round.
Wally World for the win...

Need this in.40cal...

hey andreleger2001, im kinda on the fence with this ammo, and wanted your opinion. i have a box of the standerd pressure 230 gr, and apon close insepection of the hollow piont cavity, i noticed that on some of the rounds the copper petels the fold into the cavity are shorter, and other rounds they fold all the way to the bottom of the hollow point cavity. inconsistant manurfacturing ? your opionion would be great. im using the 230 gr HST right now but would love to switch to these.

definitely going in my springfield

this is one nasty ass round, but also very beautiful at the same time. my favorite 45 jhp

@HJT420 Thanks man will be buying 2000rds tax time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the standard pressure ranger t in 230 .45 looks like the petals expand further out as compared to the +p, which looks like the petals fold under the base of the bullet...i'm considering both for home defense but hung up as to which would be the better choice; i guess i'm only considering the +p cuz of the 500 ft. lbs. of energy. these would be in a full size glock 21; your thoughts would be appreciated. and thanks for the vids....

@ludwigdrummer1 Either one would do the trick. There will be a slight tradeoff in increased muzzle blast and recoil with the +P for the extra velocity.
