This still brings tears to my eyes. I wasnt fortunate enough to meet him, but I, to this day, mourn his passing. You are w Jesus brother. How lucky you are. Jon Rivers shared a story in a special edition of 20 the Countdown Magazine that I think shows the true heart of the man. ". . .at that gigantic dinner we used to have after the Dove Awards. They had every unimaginable food and everyone was dressed to the nines and Rich Mullins was there and he felt so uncomfortable in that rich setting so to speak. Rich was one of the wisest people I have met. His music speaks from the heart and his messages are some of the simplest, but yet most profound. I wish he was still around as I would have loved to hear more of his messages.
