I was aiming for creepy, not dramatic D: Too bad I failed at the end... I was originally going to get someone to whisper the words at the end into the mic for me, and I'll make it creepy and all, but I wasn't alone in my room =[

I'd bet most of you can guess where I got the voices and the creepy laughter at the start from ^_^ Even if you can't, I'd be putting it below, so... -shifty gaze-

Oh god the end is so fail xD The word that looks like 'ourf' is actually 'ours'. I have no idea what happened there.

Anyway, this is basically Rinoa's background...

I thought it was just a dream.
She spoke to me, the reflection of my past.
Twisted.
Angry.

She was a part of me I never knew I had. She was evil, insidious and murderous... My friends, my family, my love - she locked them in a never ending nightmare... because I was afraid.

Sometime later, we were caught, experimented on... and when we had served our purpose, they disposed of us.

We are not of the earth any longer, but we are still here. We want to join you. We want to fight.

We will get our revenge.

We have played their game... and now it's time for them to play ours.

[ That is probably pretty cryptic, so I'm going to summarize it::

Rinoa was a pretty normal girl until Marlene showed up. Marlene wanted Rinoa to allow her to channel her powers through her, but Rinoa was too afraid, and Marlene, in her anger, seized control and trapped her friends and family in their own nightmares.

After that, Rinoa became hunted - somehow, the others in her town found out about her powers, and demanded that she be taken away, so she fled, with soldiers at her heels.

She was caught and experimented on, and later killed when they realized she was just a channel. Marlene, who connects to her, helped her stay put on earth so they can exact their revenge...

They decided to join the Resistance ]

Relations:: All trapped in their nightmares somewhere. [ Vanille - Vanira; Squall - Squall. Not very original... ]

Powers:: In case it isn't clear, Rinoa's evil side (Marlene) has the ability to trap people in a nightmare of her creation. Rinoa herself is pretty normal in a way... or as normal as a vengeful ghost can get.

Questions I'm pretty sure some people may ask:
- How come they're still here if they're dead?
Well... you know how they say that some spirits are still here because of 'unfinished business'? This is something like that, with a twist of Alma Wade - Marlene's 'psychic powers' stayed alive so she can get her revenge. Rinoa's basically the side of her that keeps her calm... mostly.

- How are Rinoa and Marlene related?
Marlene's basically Rinoa's younger self.

- How come Rinoa's normal and Marlene's not?
Rinoa's not exactly /normal/. Although it's true she doesn't have access to her psychic powers herself, she does act as the channel for Marlene, who doesn't exactly have a physical body. Rinoa, even dead, does.

- And-?
No, Rinoa's not a zombie. She's just more... there than Marlene is.

- Does this mean that Rinoa's evil, since she was experimented on and wants her revenge too?
No, it doesn't. She's still a good little girl and everything, but she does want her revenge because she was wronged...
