lol, are you serious? Recording headphone-sound with a mic to show the quality? This is the dumbest test I ever seen xD

@AshMargrove Completely agree that!

@vargtegel And then it's all coming out through my headphones....XD

@Izzard Like I said, it's the quality of the recording you are hearing, not the quality of the headphones. And yes, if you compare these ones with earplugs with the same mic, you might hear a difference. But I don't see why that would matter. Wouldn't you like to hear how they really sound when you put them on, instead of just "ah, they are at least better than these earplugs". I know i would.
-
@vargtegel No it isn't. At least not if you use the exact same setup to compare to OTHER headphones. The recording that results is obviously always going to be inferior to the original music. The question is: how much quality is lost? If you think about it, if the same music was then played through a tinny pair of crap earbuds and recorded with the same mic setup, the difference would be very apparent. This test isn't to demonstrate how the headphones would sound on your ears.

@SuperPs3reviewer No, this will only confuse people. They may think that the audio sounds like this when they buy a pair. And that's not true. You need to listen through the headphones speakers DIRECTLY to know. As for now we have no idea if the sound that is produced is because of good/bad headphones or good/bad recording. And even if we could tell, you just can't measure audio like that.
-
@vargtegel It's better than no test.. Besides, it gives us a decent assumption on what these headphones sound like.

I tried the Dr. Dre Beats headphones and while they sounded great and absolutely amazing, they weren't comfortable for me. They did hurt my ears when wearing them and my head felt really squished. I don't know if it was because I didn't get enough time with them, but they didn't entirely sell me. I think one of the next most important things after performance/quality is comfort. If it doesn't feel comfortable, why buy 'em??

Best headphones... i modded em yesterday by removing the strip and the base almost makes you pass out... set em on the floor on a base song and it'll walk itself... PS. This test is fucking retarded and a waste of time regardless the cans are amazing
