Mario Kart Wii - June 2008, 1st Competition 14"208

June 02, 2008 - My third best score of the 3rd Mario Kart Wii Nintendo Event (Competition 1 June 01-10, 2008).
On June 08 I improved my time to 13"956 ^^

After two competitions, this one is the best so far imo =)
This time you have to beat four enemies from Super Mario Galaxy by pushing them off the platform using shrooms. Nintendo even created a new location for this competition.

Now to the strat: It looks pretty easy and I got sub-20 very fast. Then it became harder to push the records and sub-15 was one of my final targets (later I even got sub-14).
The main difficulty is the shortness of the challenge (yes, this time, it's too short XD). You mustn't make any mistake to get a solid run. The second enemy requires a little luck as well imo, because sometimes it decides not to fall properly :P

» Note: The WR of this has been 12"423.

Epic LOL. This is the 1st Galaxy Arena competition - 1 year ago.

The currently running one with 6 topmen is already the 2nd one ;) Have a look at my channel to watch the new vids.

maybe nintendo its targeting dumb people with its tournament, their tournaments are very lame, and short. Congrats on the time though.

Yes, I'm also of the opinion, that this one was too short. They should have had more than 4 enemies in it - maybe 10 (1-1-2-2-4)

But the upcoming 4th Nintendo Event (driving Mushroom Gorge backwards with karts only) will be much longer :) I'm already planning, to do a video of it again.
