The car is from September/2001, model 1.4 TDI in Red and has the major origins parts such has:

- Engine intact;
- Gearbox;
- Exhaust system;
- Turbo;
- Painting;
- Upholstering;
- Rims (painted in anthracite grey when the car was about 100.000 km).

Problems to date:

- MAF it was replaced by 100.000 Km;
- Transmission at 229.700 Km;
- Wheel bearings front: were replaced once;
- Replacing the stick of the indicators lights at 520.000 Km;
- At 525.000 Km replacing suspension kit (1st one) , the 3rd stop light at the back and the stereo speakers;
- Steering wheel direction bar replaced at 575.000km.
- 1st Clutch at 646.916 Km
- 2nd transmission at 649.622 km and 1st Steering Box

Were the gearboxes getting regular oil changes before they failed?

Is the turbo, inectors and rest of the diesel fuel system been problem free?

That's a lot of km for a 3 cylinder. Is it still ok on fuel?

@hardcoretam The gearbox is original, only the clutch (1st one) as been replaced a few km ago. Turbo, injectors and engine are also originals and trouble free. Fuel consumption is "regular", 4,5 - 5 L/100km. The car as now about 665.000km Thanks for watching!

Damn, thats a lot of km's! If it hits the 1 million you should take it to Wolfsburg! For in the museum.

Is this car do-able on the highway? Not too slow of too much noise?
